A software firm
that chose
one industry.
Elevare Technologies builds custom software and production AI systems for real estate. Not as one vertical among many — as the whole practice.
/ Thesis
Why a firm like this needs to exist.
The industry buys software it cannot change
Real estate runs on platforms designed for the average of ten thousand firms. The moment your operation does something distinctive — and the good ones always do — the software becomes the constraint rather than the leverage.
Generalist agencies miss the domain
A capable development shop with no real estate background will build you a competent application and then spend six weeks discovering what a RESO status field means, what escrow actually requires, and why a rent roll never reconciles on the first pass.
AI is being sold before it is engineered
Most of what the industry has been shown is a demo with a good script. Production AI needs retrieval you can audit, evaluation sets, confidence thresholds, human review gates, and someone watching it after launch.
So we built the firm we would want to hire
Deep in one vertical. Senior engineers only. Systems that ship to production and stay there. And a client who owns everything at the end of it.
/ How we engage
We take a small number of engagements at a time, staffed by the people who scoped them, and we stay on after launch because a system nobody owns quietly stops working.
That constrains how fast we can grow, and we have made peace with it. The alternative — selling capacity we do not have and filling it with a bench — is how most software engagements turn into the thing everyone regrets. We would rather tell you we are booked than tell you that.

/ Straight answers
Things most firms wait until month three to say.
When you should not build
If a configured off-the-shelf platform gets you ninety percent of the way there, we will say so and point you at it. Custom software is expensive and it should be the second answer, not the first.
When AI is the wrong tool
A rules engine, a better form, or a fixed integration beats a model on a great many problems — cheaper, faster, and deterministic. We scope AI where it genuinely wins.
What it will actually cost to run
Model inference, infrastructure, and maintenance are modeled during architecture, not discovered in your first full month of production billing.
What we are not good at
We are not a marketing agency, a staffing firm, or a managed IT provider. When that is what you need, we will name someone who does it well.
Where the risk actually is
Usually data quality and adoption, rarely the algorithm. We surface those in discovery because they are what kills projects after the demo goes well.
How to take it in-house
We document and structure every build so your team can own it. If that is the plan, tell us in week one and we will engineer toward the handover.

Thirty minutes. We map one workflow, size what fixing it is worth, and tell you honestly whether we're the right build partner for it.
